Zack Beer | Special Projects & Volunteer Manager at The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland
Zack Beer is a queer settler, born and raised in Calgary, AB. They attended Mount Royal University to study history and creative writing, and their previous experience includes Heritage Park, the Military Museums Foundation, and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. Currently, they are the Special Projects and Volunteer Manager at The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland. Zack’s work focuses on exploring the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality in heritage institutions. Their written work can be found in Freefall Magazine and from Radical Bookshop. Zack will be speaking at Burcu's Angels, with a performance by Karla Marx.
