Scott Clark, Muralist & Public Artist

Scott Clark is a Calgary-based muralist and public artist whose practice is shaped by his experience as a gay/queer, and autistic artist. He holds a BFA in Visual Communications from the Alberta University of the Arts and has created over 20 public murals, including two large-scale Calgary Stampede murals and the Legacy Mural for the Alberta Summer Games.

Drawing from Fauvism, Cubism, queer art, Surrealism, and psychedelic art, Scott creates bold, colourful work exploring identity, belonging, resilience, and human connection. Through public art, he creates welcoming spaces that celebrate diversity, inspire hope, and strengthen community.

His bold, vibrant imagery challenges the ordinary, celebrates difference, and turns public spaces into places of connection, belonging, and hope.
