Nyok Peter (DJNK), DJ & Founder of NK Entertainment

Nyok Peter, known professionally as DJNK, is a Calgary-based DJ and the founder of NK Entertainment. Proud of his South Sudanese heritage, Nyok comes from a Shilluk mother and a Dinka father, roots that are an important part of who he is and the community he serves.

Outside of DJing, Nyok works in supply chain management in the nonprofit sector. Through NK Entertainment, he brings music to weddings, private events, and community celebrations. His open-format sets blend Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, pop, and Top 40, with a focus on reading the room and bringing people together.

For DJNK, every event is a chance to create an atmosphere where people can connect, celebrate, and enjoy themselves.
