Damian Abrahams is an Indigenous filmmaker, mental health therapist, and founder of Indigital Media, a photography and videography company. He has spent his career supporting highly vulnerable youth, creating programs to amplify Indigenous voices, and advocating for healing and empowerment. Damian’s documentary work, including Indigenous Dads and now We Were Taken, brings a compassionate and authentic lens to Indigenous experiences and resilience.
Kenneth Montgomery, a survivor of the Sixties Scoop and Vice-President of the Sixties Scoop Indigenous Society of Alberta (SSISA), shares his personal journey and works to preserve Indigenous stories while fostering community healing.
