Eman Safadi, Partnerships and Outreach for BUMP Festival
Eman Safadi is a community builder, film programmer, and creative producer who currently leads Partnerships and Outreach at the BUMP Festival. She’s also the co-founder of FOREIGNERZ, a Calgary-based art and production studio that brings bold, genre-blending stories to life through film, music, and cultural projects. Eman programs short films at the Calgary International Film Festival and teaches film and video at SAIT, where she also mentors emerging artists. Her work focuses on creating space for marginalized voices, and she’s passionate about connecting people through art that sparks conversation.
We’re so grateful to have Eman join us this year at CJFF. Her experience with storytelling, curating, and championing grassroots creativity makes her an incredible fit to speak on Comparsa, a film that celebrates joy, resistance, and performance in the face of injustice.
